History

Accent Ink, Incorporated is a privately owned corporation. In 2006 the current owners, Kerry and Mary Ann Strand, purchased the building and other assets of Coast Ink and Coating (formerly Merit Ink Headquarters, established in 1960). Improvements were made to upgrade the facility and with the addition of new development lab and manufacturing equipment. With the changes that were implemented to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality control, Accent Ink is capable of manufacturing products fully compliant with Federal, State, and local regulations and accepted modern industry standards. Accent Ink continues to manufacture and sell former Coast Ink and Coating/Merit Ink products, while developing and expanding into other market areas.

It is the only manufacturing facility in the Western United States with the understanding, experience, and equipment capability for manufacturing inks and coatings for the flexographic, gravure, letterpress, lithographic and screen printing processes. As a full service ink company, Accent Ink also caters to customers requiring specialty inks and coatings. A major area of product focus has always been in inks and coatings for the food packaging industry. More recently, new product lines have been developed to expand into narrow web label printing, including water-based and UV curable products.

Our Mission

Accent Ink manufactures inks and coating for commercial printing companies. While we are a full service ink company, we also cater to markets requiring specialty inks and coating. A major area of product focus has always been in inks and coatings for the food packaging industry.

Here at Accent Ink, we consider ourselves the only manufacturing facility in the Western United States with the understanding, experience, and equipment capability for manufacturing inks and coatings for the flexographic, gravure, letterpress, lithographic, and screen printing processes. Our employees have years of experience in the printing industry under their belts and strive provide quality services to our clients. We always use superior raw materials when we make our products, so you can expect to receive the quality and performance you need for your presses.

Office Hours and Location

Our office is conveniently located off of the 60 freeway, close to where it intersects with the 5.
We are open from 8:00-5:00 pm, Monday thru Friday.
